The Tamworth Street townhouse development adopts the Brisbane City Council’s goal of providing higher density housing in locations with easy access to public transport in an effort to reduce the impacts of urban sprawl. The project preserved the existing traditional Queenslander within a tight multi-unit development by relocating the house and converting it into two and three bed apartments.
At the rear of the existing house, three, two storey townhouses, complete the development. Each unit has off street parking, and private gardens in a landscaped setting.
