Biscoe Wilson Architects have been assisting St Augustine’s Church at Hamilton with general masterplanning and maintenance of existing facilities over since the mid 1990’s. We are encouraging development of external northern and south west sections of the site for a community gathering area and carpark, respectively.
Robert Biscoe is Chair of the Physical Environment Committee for the church.
In 2006 Biscoe Wilson Architects were successful in gaining a grant from the Commonwealth Government for installation of a 100,000 litre underground “Atlantis” water tank to assist with irrigation of the grounds.
The proposed Gathering Area will provide sympathetic landscaped space on the north of the handsome brick church for gatherings by the congregation and local community.
The centenary of the church is in 2019 and our practice is preparing a 3D CAD model of the building to assist in ongoing facilities management and maintenance of this heritage building.
