Biscoe Wilson Architects master planned and designed individual attached and detached house designs for the proposed group title development at Wakerley.
The proposed 72-lot community title precinct is designed to reflect the sub-tropical location. The townhouses are arranged around a private loop road that allows a variety of high quality landscaping. Landscape features will be incorporated throughout the streetscape and particularly at entry points and at common driveways. The private loop road has provided the opportunity to increase the landscaping zones along the Moss Road entry and preserve the existing vegetation. A shared recreation area incorporating a landscaped recreation area and covered BBQ is available to all residents and extends the green entry zone. The site gently slopes down from west to east. The gradient allows for minimal cut and fill. Houses will gradually step down the slope and will have varying depths of landscaping between the road and front of each dwelling. The variation in elevation, front setback and differing house designs will provide an attractive and diverse streetscape. All houses are provided with two-car accommodation. Seaforth at Manly was later renamed to Woodgrove.
