Powerlink-Narangba
In 2009 Biscoe Wilson Architects prepared a design for a shortlisted tender for a new warehouse at Narangba for Powerlink Queensland.
The ESD innovations in the design incorporated:
- Central Energy spine for Photo-voltaic (PV) cell power generation;
- Rain water harvesting;
- Natural lighting and ventilation with banked lighting on PV sensors;
- Green wall;
- Tropical courtyard office;
- Low embodied energy material selection;
- Aiming for Green Star Accredited-6 star.
In 2012 Biscoe Wilson Architects has been commissioned to design a 1.6 Ha hardstand with 5000sqm of covered holding area adjacent to the existing warehouse.
