Biscoe Wilson Architects had previous experience with this site as both Robert Biscoe and Marion Wilson had worked on the new buildings and refurbishment of some existing buildings when the SGIO Building Society operated from the site.
Following the departure of SUNCORP (previously SGIO) the building fell into dis-repair and was largely un-tenanted. ABI Group were engaged to completely refurbish the group of five existing buildings into a leasable office complex. Biscoe Wilson Architects carefully documented existing structures and designed an economical refurbishment that brought the complex into compliance with current building code.
Property Solutions Pty Ltd later investigated more major alterations and additions to incorporate a more mixed use development and this office prepared a number of schemes to assist in their analysis of the site’s development potential.
