Biscoe Wilson Architects prepared masterplanning documentation to assist AV Jennings with a development application for the medium to high density sections of a 40Ha residential development west of Caloundra.
Masterplan options for two - five storey housing models were prepared in conjunction with Land Partners. Skip-Stop two level apartment options and “Fonzi Flat” options were developed to create points of difference and to demonstrate alternative housing models. Laneway designs for terrace housing was another more urban model that was investigated.
The Meridan Plains site is adjacent the Meridan State College and in close proximity to a future rail link. The local council is encouraging higher densities on the section of the site closest to these facilities.
