Queensland Department of Housing
Biscoe Wilson have worked with Project Services, the Queensland Government Department of Housing and Public Works, to design and document a variety of Multi- Residential projects. The end client is the Queensland Department of Housing, who provide housing solutions for a variety of people, including people with disabilities. These efficient housing solutions provide affordable housing solutions. Many of the projects incorporate "Universal Design" principles which allow people with different abilities and ages to stay in their residence for longer periods of their lives.
The design of many of the projects is in small clusters that integrate into suburban contexts.
Our practice has also been engaged to undertake feasibility studies for sites presented by private developers. The sites are assessed for master plan suitability for Department of Housing.
