Biscoe Wilson Architects prepared master planning options for a third stage of an existing retirement village at Samford Village.
A variety of age appropriate housing designs were investigated in conjunction with community facilities and recreation areas. Connections to the existing infrastructure were enhanced.
A range of master-planning studies were undertaken to allow a detailed analysis of the site and for solutions that allowed staged expansion and integration with existing facilities. A number of affordable residential options were designed to suit various site aspects and topography. Care was taken to ensure housing was sited to achieve good solar amenity and have a good relationship to the landscaping.
