Biscoe Wilson was commissioned to design and document a Multi-purpose Hall and Resource Centre as part of the Building the Education Revolution Program.
The school is located in Hervey Bay in south east Queensland. This medium size multi purpose hall has been designed for a number of ball sports and for general school and community use.
An eastern annexe contains an office, amenities, canteen, and foyer for school and public uses.
Large storerooms have been included to the west for housing sports equipment and removable stage and furniture.
The second project is a library which includes resource areas, meeting rooms, staff areas, and flexible teaching spaces. Clerestory windows promote good cross ventilation and natural lighting.
Resource Centre Area: 958sqm (including outdoor learning area and covered link)
Hall Area: 720sqm
Total floor area: 1678sqm
