Biscoe Wilson was commissioned to design and document a Multipurpose Hall as part of the Building the Education Revolution (BER) Program.
Located in Bundaberg, this multi-purpose hall links back to the existing school campus with an accessible covered spine link. The hall incorporates wide covered verandah spaces which relate to east and western ovals that are home to community market events. Wide roller doors, high ceilings and good natural lighting and ventilation make this building a true multi-purpose hall.
Tilt up concrete walls and steel framed roof were adopted for the hall, while a light weight FC and metal cladding on stud frame was used for the ancillary buildings.
