Robert Biscoe was involved in the design of the innovative Post Office Square site in Queen Street when working as a student and architectural graduate at Robin Gibson and Partners. The return to the centre for a fitout of a key tenancy, Post Office Square Pharmacy, was a welcome challenge. The managing pharmacist had an interest in environmental sustainability, natural medicine and natural health before they became mainstream. We worked with Gary Kennedy to develop a holistic design that reflected his philosophies. Natural materials and complimentary colours were chosen to evoke a more natural and healthy look than standard clinical pharmacy design. A slick natural food cafe was incorporated and Biscoe Wilson Architects managed production of photography of product, logo design and eventually the construction process.
