Pink Ladies
The Brisbane Entertainment Centre commissioned Biscoe Wilson Architects to design a Tribute to Pink following her successful Australian tour in 2010.
The "Pink Ladies" was a refurbishment of the existing female toilets on level three and incorporated lots of pink. Lyrics from the artist's music were incorporated into the mirrors and graphics, photographs of Pink were used as murals, and product catalogues were poured over to find the best pink coloured materials on the market.
The project was themed to celebrate the successful career of Pink and the innovative solution will remain a permanent fixture at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.
